About SC CDBG

How to Apply

Most Community Development Program funds are awarded competitively, usually through two funding rounds per year. Business Development Program funds are awarded on a rolling basis. Potential applicants must request applications from the Department of Commerce, Grants Administration Division. Application requests for Community Development Programs must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the application deadline. Business Development Program application requests can be submitted any time. Applications to the State CDBG Program must meet all federal and state program requirements, so before submitting an application request please review the CDBG Program Description and CDBG Application Guidelines, which can be downloaded from Program Documents. Use the links below to download an appropriate request form.

Application Request Forms

Application Request forms for Community Development and Business Development can be downloaded from the Program Documents page.
